RECOVERY TIME:

September has already been a wild month for "Indiana's Team," with two matches postponed in an already packed five-game month.

With their Sept. 9 game postponed to this midweek clash, Indy Eleven picked up mixed results with a 1-0 win over NCFC on Sept. 13 and a 2-0 loss to FC Edmonton on Sept. 17.

However, with another ten full days of recovery time due to Indy's match against PRFC, originally scheduled for Sept. 23, being rescheduled to Wed. Oct. 4 due to the arrival of Hurricane Maria, the "Boys in Blue" can go all out in Jacksonville against an opponent in direct competition for a playoff position. 

ELEVEN REWIND at FC EDMONTON:

Indy Eleven dropped an important road contest at the home of FC Edmonton on Sunday, Sept. 17, falling 2-0 to the Eddies after goals from Sainey Nyassi and Dustin Corea sealed the win for the hosts.

As the two sides pushed forward looking to break the deadlock the hosts would get on the board first just after the hour mark through the midfielder Nyassi. Blitzing down the right side, Nyassi snuck in behind the defense and pushed an effort to the far post past 'keeper Jon Busch for the game's first goal.

"Indiana's Team" would not take one lying down, though their pursuit of an equalizer might have caught them out in the end when they conceded a penalty in the 77th minute. Attacker Dustin Corea stepped up to the spot and would send "Buschy" the wrong way, doubling his team's lead and helping to secure the three points at the fulltime whistle. 

WHO TO WATCH INDY ELEVEN EDITION: MF BEN SPEAS

One of the creative sparks for Indy's midfield this season, Ben Speas will be the one to watch out wide as his side looks to exploit an Armada FC side that has conceded 15 goals in the Fall Season, the third-most of any team in the league thus far.

Though the "Boys in Blue" have put up just one goal in their last three matches, Speas has been an integral part of the move going forward often deployed on the opposite side of attacker Paulo Junior looking to feed the forward Eamon Zayed. With tricks in his bag, pace to burn, and the ability to pick out his teammates from just about anywhere on the park, the former Columbus Crew man will look to incite a fury as his team grinds for a vital three points.

WHO TO WATCH JACKSONVILLE ARMADA FC EDITION: MF JACK BLAKE

Jack Blake has tortured Indy Eleven in recent encounters and leading his side in goal production in 2017, he will look to continue his attacking success against "Indiana's Team" on Wednesday night.

The clubs have played just once in the Fall Season - a 3-2 win for Armada FC came at Carroll Stadium in late August - with Blake netting a hat-trick in just over an hour to help his side earn the victory. Blake has scored eight times in 2017 as a whole, placing him T-4 in the league in that category, and will be the biggest threat again in a midfield trio that also features the dangerous Zach Steinberger and J.C. Banks.

MATCH-UP TO MARK: DF COLIN FALVEY vs FW CIARAN KILDUFF

Two Irishman go head-to-head on Wednesday when Indy's captain and starting centerback Colin Falvey looks to limit chances for fellow countryman but club foe, forward Ciaran Kilduff.

Falvey has been a mainstay at the back since being handed the armband upon his arrival in January 2016, and his 21 appearances (21 starts) have him sitting T-4 on "Indiana's Team" with nearly 1850 minutes played this season.

Kilduff, meanwhile, has enjoyed more of a sprint of success having only featured five times (four starts) but scoring three times in the process. Burying two chances against New York in the club's 3-3 draw with the Cosmos, Kilduff failed to score in last week's 3-0 loss to Miami FC and will be hungry for more opportunities in front of net.
