  • Indy Eleven Public Relations & Communications Manager

The Indy Eleven Public Relations & Communications Manager position is responsible for helping to grow and sustain the professional soccer team’s communications efforts. Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the club’s primary contact for local, national, & international media.
  • Coordinate with various departments to assist in execution of marketing, sales, and operations planning and campaigns.
  • Serve as “booker” for weekly, 60-minute Soccer Saturday program on Indianapolis’ ESPN Radio affiliate, 93.5/1070 The Fan.
  • Coordinate all additional team-related media appearances.
  • Creation of articles and feature stories for club’s website, IndyEleven.com, and assistance with game day program.
  • Assist with editing and page creation for and help maintain and coordinate stories, pages, and promotions on the back end of IndyEleven.com.
  • Creation of multimedia content (primarily video, with some audio and graphic design) for club’s website and social media channels.
  • Primary poster for all social media channels.
  • Execution of social media campaigns from brainstorming phase through distribution.
  • Maintenance of photo/video archives in conjunction with Graphic Designer.
  • Staffing at all home games, with duties including execution of social media plan and composition of official IndyEleven.com/NASL.com game recap and coordination of press box volunteer staff, which includes responsibility for all game day media, recaps, notes, and all match-related items.

 

The primary skill sets required for success include:

  • BA/BS degree in business or sports communications, sports media, journalism or public relations.
  • Successful past experience in public relations, corporate or sports communications, content marketing, or relationship management.
  • Skilled in creating, editing, and promoting written and visual content.
  • The ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience pitching, crafting, and placing content externally through guest blogging, op-ed development and effective management of social media exchanges across multiple platforms.
  • Candidate must be available to work various evenings, weekends, and holidays to support key initiatives at games and other team-related events.

The Public Relations & Communications Manager position is a full-time position (40 hours a week plus game days) and includes a base salary. This position reports to and is supervised by the Director of Marketing and Communications.   • Multi-Company Director of IT

​The Director of IT provides service for Keystone Construction Corporation, Keystone Realty Group, and Indy Eleven. This position has oversight of communications and infrastructure management, including websites, servers, computers, printers, cables, Wi-Fi, phones, and various industry related software. This position will work from out of our downtown corporate office, while ensuring continuous support and connectivity at several properties in the Indianapolis/Carmel/Fishers metro area, as well as ongoing construction sites throughout the state. The position is responsible for directing and maintaining the continuity of the services provided by IT, including ensuring each employee in the organization has appropriate technology related tools, and that all technology services provided are operational and sustainable.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily maintenance and oversight of the IT department, infrastructure, and websites.
  • Oversee and manage relationship with third party vendors for keeping websites updated, and providing end-user support for various ticketing, construction, property and financial management software applications.
  • Execute and maintain security plans to ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
  • Implement backup and disaster recovery procedures, information security, and control structures.
  • Provide technical solutions for business needs, including providing business case details or business case plans for technology improvements.
  • Implement and maintain Software Asset Management system and maintain all technology related vendor contracts.
  • Manage annual IT budget.
  • Accountable for IT Help Desk and user satisfaction and leveraging resources to optimize user experience.
  • Direct IT department to meet customer requirements and support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technologies.
  • Produce detailed timelines for infrastructure and software upgrade releases and technology projects and implement effective project controls by directing the progress of these projects.
  • Participate in all hardware and software evaluations.
  • Perform liaison duties between office, project sites and offsite properties in the areas of system design, modifications, and troubleshooting.
  • Create and execute tactical plans in alignment with organization and technical strategy.
  • Conduct or manage research of emerging technologies in construction and real estate industry to support changes in infrastructure and field needs.
  • Report performance status, analyze and provide metrics on key IT spends, tasks, and projects, including Help Desk metrics, etc.

Qualifications

Qualifications for this position are:

  • 6+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Proven ability in IT planning, organization and development
  • Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems
  • Ability to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

 

  • Indy Eleven Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated, focused and professional individual to sell season and group tickets for Indy Eleven.  This person should recognize that ticket sales are the foundation for success for a professional sports franchise and enthusiastically help to exceed all sales goals. The position will require a comfort level with calling prospective buyers, as well as, face-to face-sales at events and in the community. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in the sports industry with an organization committed to success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and manage relationships in the soccer community that will drive season and group ticket sales.
  • Solicit season ticket sales and effectively manage the relationships that lead to season ticket renewals.
  • Develop new contacts with groups and organizations via phone calls and face-to-face presentations that lead to ticket sales.
  • Assist in the creation of initiatives that lead to season and group tickets.
  • Manage or assist with fulfillment for groups on game day/events
  • Other as needed

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Experience in sales and sports preferred
  • Bilingual preferred

Community Relations Internship:

Indy Eleven Professional Soccer is now accepting candidates for internship positions within its Community Relations Department for the upcoming 2017 summer season. Interns seeking credit towards their collegiate degrees are being sought to assist the team’s community outreach. Duties for the Community Relations intern will include, but are not limited to:

  • Staffing at various community events
  • Maintain and update team’s internal and external events calendars
  • Assist in managing club’s donation and player appearance requests
  • Create and maintain community appearance database
  • Provide organizational support for potential Indy Eleven charitable arm

 

Communications Internship:

Indy Eleven Professional Soccer is now accepting candidates for internship positions within its Communications Department for the 2017 summer season. Interns seeking credit towards their collegiate degrees are being sought to assist the team’s communications efforts in areas including, but not limited to:

  • Public relations writing and general PR support
  • Website content creation and maintenance
  • Social media campaign creation and execution
  • Multimedia content creation, editing and distribution
  • Maintenance of photo/video archives and media distribution lists
  • Staffing at various community events

 

Marketing Internship:

Indy Eleven Professional Soccer is now accepting candidates for its Marketing Internship to support the team’s front office during the 2017 summer season. Interns seeking credit toward their collegiate degrees are being sought to assist the team’s expanding marketing initiatives with duties including, but not limited to:

  • Assist in formulating and executing marketing campaigns
  • Coordination/scheduling of “street team” volunteer program
  • Organize the distribution of marketing materials
  • Provide assistance in email and database marketing, website and sales analytics
  • Support market research endeavors, including survey creation and analysis
  • Assist with stadium setup/teardown and all game-day operations
  • Overseeing game-day promotions and events

All internships will include a payment of $7.25 per hour and all interns will be working a maximum of 29 hours per week. These hours will include working the front office, working gamedays and additional events outside of the office. An exact schedule will be determined in conjunction with each student’s respective supervisor and Career/Internship Coordinator in order to fulfill coursework requirements (if applicable). The 2018 Spring/Summer Semester will run from approximately early to mid-February through early to mid-August.
