LAST TIME OUT:
Indy Eleven: 0-2 L @ Edmonton on Wednesday
Ottawa: 1-0 W @ Edmonton on Sunday

Desperately searching for a victory to put them back on track for the NASL Fall Season, the “Boys in Blue” are coming off of a short turnaround after falling to FC Edmonton on Wednesday in the Albertan capital.  Ottawa, fresh off a game of their own in Alberta - a dramatic 1-0 win last Sunday in Fort McMurray - enters "The Mike" looking to sweep the season series against their "NASL Class of 2014" brethren.

The matchup history between the two teams has heavily favored the Canadian side thus far, as Indy has gone just 1W-0D-4L against Fury FC.  Indy’s lone win in the series came north of the border last October in a dramatic 2-1 game that included two goals - one for each side - coming over the last five minutes of the game.  Ottawa win 1-0 at TD Place on May 23 was the second of Ottawa’s current 11-game unbeaten streak - a run that has spanned 89 days and vaulted the club into the upper echelon of the league.

CAPTAIN NORALES TO RETURN
Saturday marks the return of Indy Eleven defender and captain Erick Norales after having served his two-game suspension following a scuffle with Cosmos midfiedler Sebastian Guenzatti on July 25th. The 30-year-old Honduran international has been a lynchpin for Indy Eleven this season, playing the fourth-most minutes for the "Boys in Blue" (1,145), netting the second most goals (2) as well as being named to the NASL Team of the Week a league-best six times. Norales' return should provide athleticism and leadership that will support more than just the Indy Eleven backline corps.

COULD CEBALLOS MAKE DEBUT?
Indy Eleven continued to put stock into its midfield this week when it announced the signing of Guatemalan international midfielder Marvin Ceballos on Tuesday.  The 23-year-old attack-minded midfielder spent the last four years with Guatemalan first division powerhouse CSD Communicaciones, where he has appeared in 69 games with eight goals.  Ceballos, who will take on the pressure of donning the #10 jersey, could very well pick up that role for interim coach Tim Regan's side on Saturday, with Dylan Mares out to injury and newcomer Zach Steinberger getting major minutes in his first week with "Indiana's Team."

Ceballos has also represented his native Guatemala at the U-20, U-23 and senior levels, with his last "cap" for the full team coming last October in a friendly against Peru in Lima.  It was Ceballos that scored perhaps the most famous goal in Guatemala history during the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup, as his 81st minute tally against Croatia lifted los Chapines to a 1-0 win that clinched their passage into the knockout phase of the tournament, in which he started all four of Guatemala's contests.

SHUTOUTS SNAP OFFENSIVE OUTBURST
Indy Eleven has been shutout just four times in its 16 regular season games thus far … unfortunately, two of those occasions have come in its last two times out versus Atlanta and at Edmonton. Prior to last Saturday’s 0-1 loss to ATL, Indy had put up at least one goal in seven straight games, during which they tallied 13 goals – this after the “Boys in Blue” tallied just 6 times in their opening 7 games of the 2015 season. The last time Indy Eleven had been shut out in back to back games was last fall in contests against Carolina (9/27/14, 0-1 L) and New York (10/04/14 @ NYC, 0-0 D).  Despite the recent scoring drought, the Boys in Blue” have tallied multiple goals five of the last nine times out, a feat it accomplished just once across its first 7 matches (4/18 @ SAS, 2-1 W).

WHO TO WATCH, INDY ELEVEN EDITION – FWD BRIAN BROWN
As one of the only "Boys in Blue" to have appeared in all 16 games this season, Brian Brown's role on the squad is very distinct. While playing 887 minutes this season, Brown has netted two goals - with the last coming on July 11th vs. Carolina - to go along with two assists on the season. Indy will need a goal-scoring mentality coming into Saturday's game to both help snap a five-half scoreless streak as well as to help them get back on the right track in contention for "The Championship."  Coach Regan has paired up Brown with his fellow countryman Dane Richards in the hopes the lightning-fast duo can continue to pick up steam and pay dividends in not just stretching the field, but putting the ball into the back of the net.

WHO TO WATCH, FURY FC EDITION – MID RICHIE RYAN
Ryan is a name that is all too familiar to Indy Eleven (and its fans) thanks to his free kick-taking prowess in Ottawa's 4-2 win over the "Boys in Blue" just three short weeks ago at TD Place. It was more than his set-piece exhibtion that riled up Indiana's Team though, as he also provided an assist and was a general nusiance all afternoon in the Canadian capital. Ryan has played a vital role in the Fury lineup during the Fall Season, logging every minute in the midfield during their 5-1-0 stretch to start of the NASL's "second season" across the last month.
